Similar but really quite a lot more disgusting.
Thing is he thought he was being gallant by not going through the bedroom where said bird was shagging his mate in order to get to her only bathroom in his hour of extreme need.
He left her with a severely compromised potato masher, and some pretty revolting kitchen roll in her bin instead.

One of the worst (true) stories I know involves an old friend of mine, some unknown bird's kitchen sink and a potato masher.
